We have a unique website, developed at length and with great care, that is is designed to be the most user-friendly available, and make ordering online as painless as possible. Beds2u have developed a simple single-screen ordering system with interactive product selection and automatic price updating where your bed is built right before your eyes. The website does the hard work for you. You can update quantities, add and delete products, checkout straight away or even save your quotation, to order at a later date. You will receive your quotation via email with a link straight back to your product should you wish to make any changes or checkout.

2 How to order on-line

Beds 2U have a unique website, developed at length and with great care, that is designed to be the most user-friendly available, and make ordering online as painless as possible.

We have developed a simple single-screen ordering system with interactive product selection and automatic price updating, where your bed builds right before your eyes. Our website does the hard work for you.

Down the left hand side of the home page you can select size options, ranging from 3ft Single to 6ft Super King. After selecting your size, you can select from a range of different mattress types, to suit your desires and needs, at which point you will see the price automatically updating underneath the panel, as you click from mattress to mattress. If you’re only buying a mattress, you can checkout at this point or you can choose a base to go with your mattress. You can select bases from the right hand side of the screen, by type, colour and storage options. And last but not least,  you can even choose the headboard and add it to your order.

Once you’re happy, you can add it to your basket, which is displayed beneath your selection. You can update quantities, add and delete products, checkout straight away or even save your quotation, to order at a later date. If you do this, you will receive your quotation via email with a link straight back to your product should you wish to make any changes or checkout.

3 Delivery

For some customers, delivery times are crucial. If you’re working to a deadline and you need beds, bases or mattresses fast, then it’s Beds 2U to the rescue.

You will be impressed with our quick delivery. Many of our products are available Next Day throughout mainland England and Wales, with up to the minute stock availability clearly displayed on our website.

All of our mainland England and Wales deliveries are free and in 5 working days. You’ll receive your product on the same day you ordered it a week later. UK Offshore deliveries are made within 6 working days.

But that’s not all. Our reputation for speedy delivery times extends to the European Union. EU deliveries are normally received within 10 working days.

Please make sure that you have a contact number that can be used on the day of your delivery before you order, so as to ensure smooth reception of your product.

Delivery is made in an 18-tonne truck as standard. Your product comes double wrapped, and the driver will remove and dispose of the outer wrapping upon delivery, at which point he’ll hand it over to you and your able bodied assistant to move the product into your home or facility.

4 How and why to set-up an account

You don’t need an account to purchase from us, but you may wish to create one if you want to save money. You can save money through buying beds in quantity and at discounts prices, or through our Referral Scheme, both of which are only made available to account holders.

An account must  also be created to store quotations that you wish to retrieve at a later date. If you don’t already have an account, you will be directed to account creation screen when you click for a quotation on the main page.

If you’re a commercial customer, you might also benefit from setting up an account with Beds 2U. There are plenty of great reasons to start an account with us. One reason might be that commercial customers usually prefer to set up an account so that they can receive monthly statements. You might also be purchasing your bed from the European Union and want to order without the VAT.

Beds 2U are very grateful to all our customers over the years who have recommended our products. In light of this, we have created a Referral Scheme to reward those who continue to help us by recommending us to others. 5  Customer’s Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why does it say 3ft on the wrapper?

Both our 5ft and 6ft zip and link beds are wrapped in the same 3ft bags. If you have purchased a 5ft Zip and Link, notice that the bag is taped down where it is loose around your product. This is nothing to worry about. If you want to be sure, grab a tape measure and measure the base for yourself – our 5ft Zip and Link beds are made of two 2ft6 pieces.

2. Why are your zip and link beds 6ft3 and not 6ft6?

We trade to standard commercial size, rather than standard domestic. This allows us to use standard size single bedding on our zip and link beds when they are separated. If you have 6ft6 fitted sheets, the three inches in length will make little to no difference on a 6ft3 bed.

3. Why are there headboard attachments at both ends?

We supply headboard attachments at both ends so that when a bed is rotated (as in the case of a zip and link bed with drawers) the headboard can be placed at either end. The official headboard end is usually the end with the join in the fabric.

4. Why are there two linking bars at one end of the bed?

Occasionally beds come with linking bars both at one end and not on the other. This is easily fixed, since the linking bars are fully removable and can easily be placed at the other end.

5. Why won’t my castors push in?

Sometimes there are splinters of wood left inside the castor clasps on the bases, which simply need removing. Please be aware that sometimes castors need reasonable force to insert, and broken ones can be easily and quickly replaced at no extra cost from Beds 2U.
